It's time...

I'm back after an almost 2 year hiatus from the book review world. I still supported my indie's, after all, they are a part of me.

For those of you who don't know me, I am Amy McGlone--blogger, reader, reviewer, Beta reader, mom, student, hairstylist, all around bad ass chick. I am a founding member of Rebels & Readers with Tonya Nagle. Around 2 years ago, I found myself at a crossroads in my life, and I took a leave of absence from Rebels to find myself again.

Well, I found myself in a city far from home, I am now a resident of the midwest, south western Oklahoma to be exact. I am now a divorcee, raising my kids, attending school for a bachelors in Communications/Public Relations and a minor in English. I lost one of the true supporters I have in my life to cancer. I love you Dad, always. I found the love of my life, he's a writer too, and supports me no matter how crazy my ideas seem to be. We get away by getting on his bike and taking a ride out into the country. He keeps me centered and my head on straight.

I still felt myself longing for immersion into the book world, and I thought long and hard about it before deciding it was time. So, Words by Night was created. I do hope you missed me as much as I missed you. Time to scrub the dust off and reach out to my old contacts.
