My thoughts:

I am a big fan of a bdsm book when that book is done well and done right. Measha Stone knows a little something about bdsm, that's for certain. The characters are well rounded characters each fulfilling the purpose of that said character. Samantha fits right into the role of a little, although it needs to be said that the Daddy Dom/little lifestyle is more than just "littles". Ryder makes an excellent Daddy Dom and you can tell when reading about him, his actions, how much he cares, that it is something that really suits him.


My one complain about this book is that there were no negotiations between Samantha and Ryder when it came to the lifestyle, and for realistic purposes, that shouldn't have been cut out. Any Daddy Dom worth his salt isn't going to engage in play with a little without extension talks about hard and soft limits, or even safe words.


Overall, this was a good book, one I'll be glad to pick up the rest of the books in the series and check out Measha's work in the future.
