My view:
I do love a good shifter book. And it's difficult to find one that is done well. Renee Rose and Lee Savino have been on my list of auto reads for a long time. They did not disappoint with Alpha's Sun. My only complaint is that it ended too soon.
I love Sunny's happy-go-lucky disposition. She reminded me a flower child from the 60s, which I think was the point. With her empathy skills, I expected her to come out as a witch at some point during the book. I was rather surprised.
Titus lived up to the expectations that his name just garners. That man is smoking. You know the guys who get better as they age? That's what I expect Titus is like if I could find him in real life. Just un *fans self*.
Okay okay okay, Titus is a single man, not interested in getting burnt again. Compliments of his ex-wife, he radiates "I don't want a relationship." Sunny being sensitive to emotions of others picks up on this and moves along after their fling. Fate brings them back together as the fickle bitch always get her way.
Great read, quick read, excellent layered characters, wonderful story line. one thing to say is that because the book can be read as a standalone, I would prefer a little more back story to the history of the wolves and how they came to be as they are.
